The Collector can routinely purge stored usage data based on the data retention specifications you provide. You can also purge data on demand.
To purge data or set a purge schedule, click Data Retention on the Main Navigation Menu to display the "Schedule Data Purges" page.
To edit the automatic purge schedule, enter the minimum number of days you want to maintain data. Then indicate how frequently you want the Collector to purge data (On Demand, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly) and the time of day. Then click Schedule Purges.
To purge data immediately, click
Purge Now. This
option will purge data older than the number of days specified.
To prevent the re-collection of conferences from the MCU after they have been purged and the subsequent inclusion of purged conferences in another output batch, the Collector always keeps a certain number of conferences, regardless of the data retention specifications.
