Before you can collect usage data and generate output files, you must do the following:
Define your MCUs — tell the collector which MCUs to access and when to collect.
Create outputs — tell the Collector how to format your output files and schedule output file generation.
Unless you have indicated to the Collector that you want to handle certain events "on demand," both the collecting of data and generation of data output files are automatic from that point on.
